Mark is going to the surgeon on Monday to find out when he will have knee surgery which may cause him to be home up to six months. So, I am trying to work work work so that we are starting ahead of the game; if this is possible. I tried to set a budget on food for the week of $60 and we have more than doubled it. Good thought is that I have two meals that will be for next week and the only thing we should have to get is milk and cereal. Fun. When Mark will not need me to help him after his surgery my work said I can pick up the extra hours to total my hours to 40. I was just asked if I would be the wedding coordinator of our church; doors really do open. The Lord provides for us everyday I just do not always give credit to Him like I should. I am working on my faith.

Almost another week down into the new year. I am almost another year older; yikes. I played volleyball the other night and it was a lot of fun. I hope that everyone is having a good week it is almost over.

wow another year down and one more to go!!

we had a very good christmas and new years. Eli was excited to go back to school today to see his friends; and he his 7 now. We had a leak in our shower about a week ago, always challenges in life. The seller put a home warranty on the sell so we paid the copay and now waiting to see how much repair we can get. Mark hurt his good knee on new years and we will know more after friday from his mri.

ups and downs

Life is uknown. It would be simple to live life if we knew the who’s whats whys and wheres. What fun would that be?? I could plan, I would know why somethings happen and why not other things. Life is full of not understanding until God shows us the big picuture that just keeps getting bigger.

Cody and I took Eli to get his first hearing test since his px. Well, not understanding the why; Eli had his worst hearing test. He had a special test done which ruled out nerve damage. We have an appt w/ his ent on Monday morning. The last couple of weeks I have noticed a difference w/ his behavior and told Mark I felt something was going on w/ his ears. I have been pulling my hair out at times not knowing what to do. Talking w/ Mark last night explaining I realize that Eli is having a hard time but it does not stop me from getting upset and or even yelling due to he is not listening. Not listening; huh. This is my challenge; to have patience.

over eating

remember we do not walk enough the day after turkey day to eat, eat and eat. Lets all try to do a work out the morning of turkey day. I am really not in the mood to over eating. I am kinda in the good space that it is not all worth it and that it just adds to what i will lose it i just eat, eat, eat.

I have been doing my abs workout, eli asked if he could do it before school; so silly. he was doing sit ups and such w/ me last night it was too cute. I have been doing okay I could be doing much better though. this is why my scale is not moving much. I need to find a really cute pair of somthing to motivate me. Problem, my body has been shifting; what fun. This does not help the mood. I starting ready this book and even though i am not liking my body i am remembering i am a mom of two and we are happy and healthy this is most important.

to all my friends have a HAPPY THANKFUL THANKSGIVING. there are always things in our life that we can pick at and not be happy, remember we are blessed everyday w/ what God has given us. if we focus on the positive and when we worry to pray to God w/ the worries and our worries will become less. Happy Thanksgiving. love amy

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. I hate to know what I weighed before I started being focused on loosing weight. I did not weigh all week and when I got on today I am reminding myself I could do better. I have not exercised due to hurting my foot last Sunday again. I went to the doctors and she said I use crutches or a boot. I may ask my good friend Koya to borrow her moms? Good news the doctor said I can do a smooth work out on the machine; great news!!! I will see the scale down 10 lbs by Christmas. This is more than possible w/ will power and drive to not by anymore fat cloths. Yes I had to go by a few outfits due to my butt and stomach too big. Yuck! Lets get thin!!!

A co-worker yesturday told me about somthing she saw for the top of a Christmas tress; crown of thorns. I thought this was a great focus point. She also gave all of her kids a big nail hanging from a strip of leather and the family puts it at the bottom of the tree. She stated when the tree comes down the nail is still there. What a powerful thought if you really think deep about the both. WOW.

it is hump day everyone we are half way through the week. it is not raining at this moment!

well i sprained my foot on friday, for a couple days i could not even walk on it. mark took very good care of me/family. he was very nice and went grocery shopping last night; we had hardly anything one would want to eat. all is well.

cody is in the living room playing horse barn. he loves his horses.

eli has late start.

Oh, we went longer than I thought we would. Eli started running a fever and just did not look good; plus when he got up he did not ask for breakfast. By mid afternoon he was feeling good we went for a short walk outside for fresh air. I thought all past. That is a big NO. Last night I was up many times w/ him. He asked for the “bowl” cause his tummy was going to get sick. He was running hot. He started crying at 5:55am and I let him get up to watch cartoons. Mark just gave him medicine, we shall see? The boys did really good yesterday and I even did a phone conference w/ my work for over half hour. I worked more from home than I would have done in the office. Today I will attempt some more not knowing what tomorrow will bring.

All else is fine. Mark is still dealing w/ some pressure?? stuff in the head he cannot kick it??

I am doing well I just wish I could be motivated w/ exercise and good eating. I am so quick to go to food when all is not well or I just feel down mainly due to not losing weight and then I gain again. What a cycle.

the wonderful sand and water

We went to the coast this weekend. Mark’s mom and dad rented a seven bedroom house for all of us (mark’s brothers and sis).

The boys love the sand. Cody played in the sand w/ cousin Brooklynne and Eli was playing in the water w/swim shorts and no shirt lovin life. There was a colored man video taping the kids and then was stuck on Eli. Tamra, Abra and I were thinking it was a little creepy due to he was follow Eli. The people started talking to us how they were dressed for weather and Eli was in shorts only. It turns out the person watching Eli was from some far away country and he was here on a misson trip. So, I am okay w/ Eli being on a missonary video.

Marks dad ended up having to go home Saturday due to his oldest brother was in heart failure and they were going to take him off all support, this was sudden!! Marks uncle passed after Marks dad was able to get there to say good bye. Marks dad and youngest brother came back to the coast .

We had a really good time, Sarah was unable to come and Kris and her boyfriend were in there own world gone all the time; which is fine. The rest of us had a blast!! Mike and Abra got some new wii game from costco it is fabulous and I think Eli lost atleast five lbs playing it. Possible christmas gift I think? Cody slept on this little tiny long bed stuck in a secret spot but due to not being able to move was unable to sleep. I am tired. The boys love the sand and water so much we are going to be going much more often for those day trips I think.
